Step 1. Understanding Money

It is vital we all understand what money is.

Have you ever asked what is money? Who creates it? Where does it come from? What is debt? Who owns our debt?

These questions should be asked and taught in schools as they rule our entire lives. It will become obvious why they're not after you witness the following information.

I did not know what money was until 2013 when I asked the fateful question, "who the hell are we in debt to as a country?"

As you can imagine, there is no short answer. Treat this as your next Netflix Series and watch one every evening after work.

It is incredibly interesting.

Note - I do not agree with every point or solution offered in these documentaries. However, I believe the information presented within them is very important to hear. As always, you have to read around this topic and find other sources to back up this information.

The first documentary (Money as Debt) is quite hard going. Part 1 is definitely worth the effort, the other two can be skipped if they're too technical. The next two documentaries are much easier to digest and enjoyable to watch.
