Spar Supermarket Shuts Hundreds of Stores after Cyberattack
The Dutch chain has been forced to close around 300 shops in the UK following a major hack. (Sky News)
The company explained its IT systems had been hit and staff left without access to emails.
The attack is being investigated by the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre, who said, "We are aware of an issue affecting Spar stores and are working with partners to fully understand the incident.”
